Oceana Jewelry at the Harbor Village Gallery

It has been a beautiful summer in Ventura!  Sunny, warm, and the Ventura Harbor Village is buzzing with locals and vacationers stimulating our economy.  As a member of the Buenaventura Art Association, I get to sell Oceana Jewelry in the Artisan store at the Harbor Village Gallery.  Let me tell you, friends, this is a great opportunity for me.  Location-location-location!  The village is a beautiful little gem in the Ventura Harbor.  Shops, restaurants, bars, boutiques, a surf shop, art galleries, a comedy club, an ice cream shop, a coffee shop, a dive shop, and an arcade with a carousel.  Then add beautiful weather, live music, art fairs, harbor tours, tall ships, pirates (I'm pretty sure some of them are real), the Channel Islands National Parks Visitors Center, and of course, the beach!  Oceana Jewelry belongs here, and I am happy to say that my sales are proof of that.  And then there's the added bonus of getting to dress up like a pirate!

If you haven't been to Ventura for a while, take a break this summer and check out the Ventura Harbor Village.  It's a great place to spend the afternoon or evening.  I recommend coming out on a Sunday just to get a rack of ribs and some Blue Stew at Blackbeard's BBQ.  Blue Stew is a great blues/rock band that plays live every Sunday afternoon.  Wear your dancing shoes and be prepared to bump into salty pirates.  The harbor Village Gallery is directly behind Blackbeard's, so be sure to stop in and check out all the local art, including Oceana Jewelry!
